"This place was Great. It was very clean and had all we needed to feel at home. The walk to the river was beautiful, I wish it was summer but nevertheless it was so very nice. Restaurants and downtown shopping are a rock throw away and a must to visit Gruene Historical District. We had a fabulous time, thank you Romantic Casita for hosting us. "We adored this beach cottage, sometimes beach rentals feel a bit cheap or lack a comforting energy - this was not the case here. We felt immediately at home, as did our dog (who typically waits until the last 5 minutes of a trip to feel safe!)! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and plan to be back in the future. We loved the abundance of windows which brightened up the space and made it feel larger, and loved that there was a sound machine in the bedroom! "

"Amazing cottage in a beautiful location with easy access to beach only a short walk away. Perfect for a vacation getaway, setup nicely with all of the ammenities. Historic Galveston, Pleasure Pier and other attractions are only a short drive away. Highly recommend!!!"

"Nicely renovated home with plenty of space. Good instructions and fairly easy to get to. The neighborhood was quiet, however, it didn't appear to be in the best of neighborhoods. Overall, it worked for our purpose. "

"Delightful little cottage - just perfect for the two of us. We followed the hosts recommendations on places to eat and had some great meals! One evening we sat on the porch swing and just enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Great place for a romantic getaway! Easy access to the Gruene and New Braunfels for food, music and shopping. Exceptionally well-maintained property - highly recommend."

"Our family booked in order to attend our airman's graduation from basic training. It was so nice for when he had his off base passes that we could do it in a family type atmosphere rather than a hotel room. It made our family time that much more special. The house was clean neat and everything was just wonderful."

"The pictures really don't show how spacious the house is and how close the house is to the water. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really enjoyed watching the sunrise and fishing right in front of the house. Our dogs liked laying on the porch people watching. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to be back there. "Overall we had a wonderful stay at this condo in Galveston! Checking in was super easy and the man and woman working the desk were extremely nice! The location of the condo is close to plenty of restaurants whether you want to drive OR walk and the beach is directly across from it, 5 minute walk or leas depending on the traffic. I thought i would hate having to cross the road but it really wasn’t bad and everywhere is like that in Galveston anyway. The only reason we’re not giving it a full 5...
