The best news is that the parking is right in front of the building. The bad news is you have to walk down 8 steps, then walk 10 feet then turn and go up 8 steps, then turn again and go up another 10-12 steps, then walk about 30 feet until you're inside the buidling. This would not be fun if there is snow or ice, nor was it fun for me with a bad back and having to schlep groceries and my suitcases. I was unaware of all these steps.
This condo faces south and west with lots of windows in those directions so that it remains quite warm throughout the entire day and night. The patio slider screen door lock is broken so you can't leave the slider open without feeling concerned about someone coming in. Even with sleeping with all the windows open and having the blinds drawn during the day we never cooled down to a comfortable level at night time. The master faces all those stairs that I mentioned so that you hear other guests coming and going also. The upstairs condos floors squeak SO bad that it was unbelievably noisy. They weren't dancing or doing anything other than just living (also a rental), so beware of this too. The heat and the noise was not fun at all. The weather can shift quite quickly there in the Tetons so then the last part of our stay it cooled off (it was also 45 degrees outside). I didn't light a fire or anything but the smell of smoke was pretty strong in the condo. I was concerned about not seeing a carbon monoxide detector in the unit. It was prob someone else's fire but how the smell came into our unit escapes me....there should be a detector.....
The kitchen has ZERO condiments...NO salt, pepper, cooking oils, nada. 2 small paper towel packs and otherwise you are on your own. There isn't any tin foil, zip loc bags, there was ONE tupperware. It's fairly pathetic actually. The knives AND the cookware are very old. Both the knives and the frying pans and other pans handles are so loose, that they're unsafe to use. The handles are almost going to fall off on most knives in butcher block and pots. There is mold in the master bathroom on the ceiling in the tub. You can tell that there's been a leak from above and it's being allowed to fester and there's mold there. There's also pieces of the floor that is missing in the master bath and old fake flowers in a vase that are super dusty and quite outdated. I liked the furniture and appreciated the new mattresses, but the carpet needs to be pulled throughout.
