「We had a lovely time! Communication from the owner was timely and helpful. We loved being right on the water while still being totally private with plenty of space for the dogs to romp around. The screened in porches were our favorite places to spend time and the house was incredibly spacious. We would love to enjoy it again in the future with more of our family and friends!」

「The hotel staff are always friendly and courteous. The lobby is clean and well maintained. The interior rooms are in better condition than the outside rooms. Consider adding a bread/bagels/spreads and a toaster on the continental breakfast bar. 」

「I was given a quiet room in the back away from the highway, The room was quiet with all new furniture as they are renovating the entire property. I was very pleased. However hard to find as the sign was Not illuminated, either burnt out or not on. I will stay here again.」

「The front desk staff were amazing! They had answers for all the questions we asked about the area. Stanley greeted us with a purr. He has to be the sweetest cat ever! Shower water was perfectly hot, bed was comfy. Easy drive to restaurants and sights in the area. We were there in the winter and plan on coming back in the spring.」

「I've used this hotel multiple times. It's clean and comfortable with good customer service. It's not fancy but it has everything I need. Good water pressure in the shower and comfy bed with microwave, fridge and desk space. Good wifi. For the money a good deal.」

「I booked 2 nights with my parents and grandparents at the island girl getaway. It was possibly the best beach experience I’ve had yet. Tangier is an incredible island rich with history and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the caretaker, Andy was very helpful and kind. We happened to come to the island when the tides were unusually high occasionally throughout the day, yet I would note that our house seemed to be the only one which had no water near it...

If you are interested in a deeper exploration of this fascinating island, we highly recommend you stay here. The home was recently beautiful renovated and decorated, with pretty much every need met for in home meal preparation. I guarantee you will not need much else! We also highly recommend meal service offered, which will complete this amazing experience for you! P.S. the host...

「We loved UpYonda! Erin and Mark are so nice and easy to communicate with. The home is beautiful and there really is everything you need there. The suite upstairs is beautiful and huge!! The view of the water is amazing and the wildlife was stunning. We saw a fox, Blue Heron and got video of an Otter rolling around in the snow on the dock! The stargazing is fantastic and we made a snowman. We loved it. 」
