Due to a problem of overbooking in the hotel, I’ve agreed to be redirected to the hotel In The Shadow suggested by Sirena Serena hotel. Since the conditions of my original booking were not kept (I’ve specifically requested twin beds), the person receiving us in In The Shadow hotel was not nice or helpful at all when I’ve raised the point about the twin beds. Instead of being nice and helpful, the person receiving us proposed that the solution would be for us to pay for an extra room for the night that we’ve arrived and on the next day they would move us to a twin bed room. When trying to contact Sirena Serena hotel, this was only possible through the Hotels.com app and as no one was helping to sort the issue, I’ve had to end out booking a new hotel. Not sure if this was just an unfortunate situation or if it’s something recurrent, but I was not impressed with the service at all and would not recommend this hotel, even if the photos and description seem lovely.
