「We needed separate bedrooms, a stop that would get us through the snowy passes at the optimal times, a midway point on a long interstate road trip, calm and quiet, safe and away from noisy freeway or sketchy neighborhood s. I must have looked at 150 other options until this spot popped up.This little cabin in the woods, as the kids called it, was everything we needed. Great location,, lots of space and personality. 「From start to finish, Rosie’s place was a wonderful experience and place to stay. She is so welcoming and thoughtful. The property is beautiful and the cabin is absolutely comfortable and inviting. Rosie is very responsive and proactive. She confirmed our approximate arrival time and had delicious homemade bread and chili waiting for us. 「If ever I were to own a cabin, it would be of the design of this one. Rustic feel with solid and complete foundational amenities. Greats: cathedral ceiling/loft/windows, large porch, bbq, wood stove, no TV, solid internet, great shower and bathroom, firm and comfortable mattresses. Nit-picky cons: jacuzzi isn't really a traditional hot tub, 30 min drive to/from Ashland on a very winding (yet picturesque) road, check-out time of 10am with $35 fee to extend to noon.
