Vintage Charm & Modern Comfort close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, & parks
Cozy 2 bedroom & 1 bathroom apartment with separate living & dining rooms, a spacious front porch, coin-op washer & dryer, & off-street parking. Nearby historical bars & restaurants, zoo, golf course, & dog park. Enjoy breathtaking views of the city across the street at Tip Hill's newest rooftop bar. This is a private apartment that is located inside of a building with 4 other apartments. The only "shared" areas are the main foyer, back hall, front porch, the basement.
Decent place wouldn’t recommend. Missing some basics like a corkscrew, only a couple of wine glasses. biggest issue dog in downstairs apt #2 barked/howled every time the occupants left.
Place was clean and as described, bed rooms small

Good location
Good location, pictures are somewhat deceiving compared to the actual condition of the property, it is quite dated, and especially the living room has a strong smell. Luckily we overcame this by opening the windows, but on hotter or colder days that wouldn't be an option. That being said it was clean and served our purposes. FYI, if you are planning on being there Thursday night be prepared, the rooftop bar across the street is an off the hook dance party! However Friday and Saturday were more low key. Thanks

Everything you need but not everything you want
There were some great things about the property and a few things that need to be improved to make this a 5-star stay.
Location is solid, very walkable neighborhood!
Apartment has everything you need in the kitchen.
Designated parking spot.
Some things to be aware of include there are steep stairs to get to the second floor.
Some areas for improvement include host communication, smoke smell, noise control, and upgrading bedding to higher quality.
Host communication: Initial communication should include all details (instructions for parking, entering property including passcode, and instructions for connecting to WiFi). I had to message back and forth for the passcode and WiFi information.
Smoke smell: When people smoke outside, it comes up the stairwell and enters the back bedroom. Invest in an air purifier or better seal the door. Additionally, one of the clean towels in the bathroom reeked of marijuana.
Noise: It’s an old house so sound travels really easily. Neighbors were not loud but you could still hear them. Invest in noise machines for the bedrooms.
Bedding: Very cheap and not breathable. Invest in better quality sheets (or bring your own!)
