Great stay
Lovely clean and modern house. Had everything we needed. Easy access (5 mins drive) to Gordon River cruise and the famous Strahan play. Both excellent by the way.

Comfortable and convenient
This property presented as in the pictures. It was comfortable, clean and everything presented well. The host was responded quickly to our query. The shower over the bath was a disaster waiting to happen. It was very slippery, more-so when the non slip mat was down and especially when using soap. It was also a bit further from shops etc than we expected but as we drove it wasn’t an issue. The seafood buffet that was recommended was the worst value for money ever and the seafood was very obviously not fresh. The Gordon River Cruise however more than made up for it - it was a highlight of our stay.

Relaxed holiday at Strahan
Just loved this beautiful peaceful backdrop and warm and friendly hosts who promptly responded for all queries and kept us up to date even about the river cruise. Boys were so enthralled to play cricket at the open ground and a lovely gesture and offer of cricket kit to the kids from the super friendly hosts ! We were sad to leave and wish we could statyed a bit longer.Pretty spacious property with all comfort of home and amenities with short stroll to beach ! We will defintely come back !

Perfect peaceful base for exploring the beautiful west coast!
My mother and I had a lovely peaceful stay at this modern 3 bedroom holiday house in Strahan over the New Year period. Check in and communication was great and the carport was very handy for unloading our luggage. There is also an undercover clothesline which is sensible considering the weather can be unpredictable. The hosts had left the heating on for our arrival which was very much appreciated. The house was extremely clean and spacious, with a large kitchen/dining room and comfy lounge room. All 3 bedrooms contain queen beds and were very comfortable with plenty of storage. The backyard is grass only and the house is located in a very peaceful area, away from major roads and traffic noise. We walked down to the jetty to see the water (at the end of the road) but used our car to do all other sightseeing in the area. It's about a 20-25 minute walk from the house to the main waterfront area of Strahan (pub, café and cruise wharf). We highly recommend visiting the sawmill and timber shop on the Esplanade, and further up the road is the Peace Park where you can start the pretty 40 minute return walk to see the Hogarth Falls. It's also a great town to use as a base for seeing all the sights of the west coast and we really enjoyed our visit with such friendly hosts.

Excellent! House was immaculately clean, property had great cooking facilities, air conditioner, very comfortable. Only 15-20 flat walk to town and 5 min to beach. Excellent communication from owners.

Plastic containers used for sugar, tea and coffee Books and games very old and out dated Some menus for local eateries left in the house printed in 2019 Renovation of house looks good from distance but close up are done to very poor standard Summary very over priced for what we got

Great little house, perfectly clean, comfy beds, well kitted out with everything you need. Tucked away in a quiet residential street. Just a warning, it's 5 mins drive from the town centre not 5 mins walk. It took us a brisk 20 minutes to walk along the beach front to where the boats leave from, and would take 25 mins if you walked round via the road.

New, clean, up to date facilities, comfortable, garage parking, great handyman/ caretaker- very helpful and personable the lack of an address on the advert was strange and off-putting. Car parking was really only the one car. Additional long trailer or car intrudes to accessway to other properties. The single shower/ bath and the single toilet is ok for couples or tolerant small families but likely problematic for larger families or groups of friends

Practical, clean, air conditioned accommodation
We were the lucky ones with wonderful calm sunny weather in Strahan. We were able to extended our stay by 2 days. The accommodation has good living/kitchen space. The carport extends to the back door making entry waterproof with luggage and with a good undercover clothesline.

Strahan - Great little spot!
This is a fully remodelled home that is actually better than the current photos, good beds, very well equipped, lots of careful thought to allow occupants to have a trouble free and very pleasant stay in Strahan. Strahan seems a very disjointed settlement meaning most housing is scattered around and very little of it it is convenient, as in walkable, to most wanted activities. This simply means that this house and most others in Strahan require you to have access to a motor vehicle, to make the most of your opportunities. Can say with confidence that your hosts here are very gracious, generous and fun people. So book this for good value and an easy stay and you will be on a winner!
