We stayed for 30 days in January and February. The house was lovely and quite versatile. My wife and I were able to work remotely via the internet on different sides of the house and we never interrupted each other. The kitchen is great, with everything you need. We basically just lived the Lodi life for a month. It is very quiet, and serene, and beautiful even in Winter. We felt very safe and cozy. The regular sites in the area are dog walkers and students going to and from school, and outside house cats. The park across the street is mellow and friendly. Basketball courts and handball courts are used regularly by locals having fun. The people of Lodi are so exceptionally sweet and content everywhere you go. It's really like going back in time to a medium sized farm town. There is a nice brewery and numerous wine bars, but the night life is pretty slow after 9. It is about an hour drive to any memorable hiking area, but we managed to see the incredible Mt. Diablo, Pinnacles National Park, Black Hole to Calcutta Trail, and the Golden Gate Vista Point on day trips. And local Micke Grove Park and it's golf course are great facilities. P.S. You can walk to a great grocery, coffee shops, tacos, Chinese, brewery, cinema, thrifts, churches, and the awesome Joe Hassan's Clothing.
