In the cabin area there is a separate activity area with soccer field, beach volleyball, swing set and trampoline. The area is popular with children and young people of all ages.
In the forests behind Mjøsli there are unprecedented walks, skiing, hunting and cycling opportunities, as well as several idyllic forest lakes. Cycling, skiing, trampoline jumping, playing volleyball or football, remembering, climbing, bouldering, playing, boating, swimming, fishing, jogging, grilling, knitting, hunting, reading, baking and cooking, watching TV, full speed or lazy days.
If you are interested in golf, you can settle for Atlungstad and a game of golf or a visit to the distillery.
The zoo at Tangen is a popular destination for families with children. The zoo is especially nice. Plenty of space and a nice place to go on a trip. Bring your own food and grill at one of the nice picnic areas in the zoo.
If you are interested in art and culture, the hinterland is the center for this. There is the Norwegian Emigrant Museum and the Motor History Museum. You also do not have to go far to visit Prøysenhuset.
Do you want to climb in a climbing park? Domirkeodden and Helgøya. There is an easy and demanding climbing trail. Both adults and children can climb here and find suitable big challenges.
Bouldering is becoming more and more popular. The bouldering usually takes place by climbing on detached rocks in the forest. In Stange you will find Eastern Norway's best boulder areas. The area in general has an enormous potential for bouldering in all levels of difficulty.
