Backyard Guest House
Im leaving this review not to sound negative but to be informative. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep then it’s more than perfect. The place adequately met our needs and was private. We were surprised to find that it was a guest house in a backyard but it was well secluded. There was just zero views of anything besides the building we were behind. The place is not equipped with smart TVs only very basic cable. Usually that wouldn’t matter but due to some occasional bad weather we were stuck indoors more than expected so the ability to stream would have been preferable. Host was friendly and great at communicating and overall we were happy with our stay. The best parts were the distance to the beach and the trolley and even walking distance to food and drinks. Also there was garage parking that wasn’t mentioned in the listing that was a very nice surprise. Overall I’d give this place a 4.5 star rating.

The Bungalow is in an amazing location & had everything we needed for our stay! The walk to the beach was only a couple of minutes. Marilyn was the best host, she took us to the market & gave us a short tour of the town! She brought us doughnuts for our last full day & answered all questions we had in a timely manner!

Great location with the BEST host!
This property is so affordable and is in a great location! The white sand is less than two minutes from the house. We had everything we needed for our stay, including plenty of beach towels, toys for the kids, a large beach umbrella, chairs , and a wagon to haul it all. The host is SO sweet! She even brought donuts to us on our first morning there! I would stay here again just to visit her again!

PERFECT LOCATION
The location of this property is absolutely perfect if you like being away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to it to enjoy. The beach access is perfect and the beach by the bungalow was very private and not crowded at all. The bungalow itself is nice and the host was an absolute delight and very responsive to needs. It was a little dirty upon arrival and not quite ready to receive guest. But we understand life happens and was not that bothered by it since there was things on hand for us to straighten up.

Loved the location!
Guest house in lovely neighborhood. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Property had everything we needed for the beach….wagon, chairs, umbrella and toys for kids. Beach access was only a couple houses away and the beach seemed very private being in a residential area. Property is under a mile away from all the action in town. Marilyn is the sweetest host. Looking forward to another visit next year.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Clean and cozy, steps from beach (which feels private—not busy at all like beaches more in town). Walking distance to bars, food, shopping. We also very much enjoyed the hot tub at night. Marilyn was awesome and even took us for groceries on the first day. Would love to come back with the kids next time. Thanks Marilyn!

Amazing beach getaway
The property was clean and comfy. Nice minute stroll to the beach. Manager was amazing and very accommodating. If your looking for a great beach house close to amazing restaurants and beautiful sights this is the rental for you.

Fantastic Location
Marilyn is the perfect host. She welcomed us by taking us to the grocery and giving us a small tour of Clearwater by car. The bungalow is just a few houses down from the beach in a quiet neighborhood which we enjoyed. The fun and attractions are just a half a mile to a mile from the bungalow. LOVED IT
The owner Marilyn is absolutely the sweetest. The bungalow is literally a short walk to the beach and with it being in a neighborhood this area is not as crowded as the areas with hotels. I definitely would stay and even refer friends to stay here. She has plenty of beach needs already for ya, chairs, towels, umbrella and a cart.

Perfect Location for Long Days at the Beach
Quaint 2-bed cottage behind main home was the perfect location to cross the neighborhood street and be on the beach in seconds. Wonderful hostess lives in main home if you need anything. Hot tub was sparkling clean and private — no shared spaces, which was a lovely surprise for the incredibly affordable price. Photos are accurate - this is a quiet neighborhood away from the busy main street. We wanted a calm private stay with quick beach access and this home absolutely delivers.

My husband and I were so impressed by the cleanliness of the bungalow that was filled with anything that we needed from the well stocked kitchen to the more than ample supply of towels and linens. Just a short walk across the street to the beach. Many stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Marilyn is a perfect host and such a caring, wonderful person. She is always ready to do anything to make your stay so pleasant. During a heavy rain, she even guided us through her home to the bungalow so we didn't get wet. We will definitely stay here again. My kids had a blast! What a fun, short weekend for a beach getaway. The bungalow is very close to the beach access allowing frequent visits to and from when hungry, tired, etc. we will definitely look at staying again!
