Overall, our experience renting this property was good. I didn’t receive any check-in instructions so we had to knock on the owner’s door. Luckily, he was home and able to show us how to get in. The place is great. It is very spacious, modern, and clean. We had everything we needed, and it was very convenient. They welcomed us with a package of Oreos, which the kids enjoyed. We had some problems with the TV, but the owner was quick to respond and eventually got it working for us. Something to do with battery issues and a loose cord. The hot tub was a nice treat, and we enjoyed it two nights. Due to the pool water running into the hot tub, it got cold at times. The owner even opened the pool for the kids and showed them some fun waterfalls. There were platforms for the kids to jump into the pool. It was cold outside, but the kids were brave and jumped in a few times. My main complaint about this stay is that they were doing some work on the upper level while we were there. The workers weren’t very professional and were outside, smoking, while we were coming in and out, so everything outside smelled like cigarette smoke. Also, on the last morning of our trip, they were playing some very loud music (possibly a Bluetooth headphone mishap), and it woke all of us up. I had to text the owner at 6:45 in the morning. After that, the music turned off, and the owner apologized. I would recommend the contracted work be scheduled when the basement apartment is NOT being rented out. I know this is a brand new listing, and overall, we had a good experience. But there are a few kinks to work out.
