Really cool old motel next to the beach. Reminded us of old Florida. The staff was super friendly and was close to lots of things to do.

I interacted with the front desk associate and the housekeeper; both were warm, friendly and professional. The motel is cute and in an excellent location, one building back from the beach. It is easily walkable to restaurants and shops and both the river and the ocean. Though clean, the motel looked somewhat neglected. Half the letters in the neon sign were out. The carpet in our room (202) needs to be replaced ASAP. And the tub needs to be refinished. Dividers should be put up between rooms on the shared balcony to make it a series of private balconies. Also we could hear everything in the room next to ours.

Location is amazing! You can just walk to restaurants, grocery, liquor store and best of all the huge beautiful beach which you can walk your dog on leash on.

Definitely our favorite beach motel in Florida! Very quiet and safe. A quick walk to either the beach, restaurants and grocery store. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The few times we have been there all of the staff has been friendly, outgoing and very helpful.

I always enjoy casual retro style motels. The room assigned at check in turned out to have an electrical problem. The three of us in our family had unloaded the car and unpacked when the power went out. The front desk attendant was quick to come to the room and flip a breaker switch, which I had not noticed before the power went out. I should have mentioned that it was nighttime and dark outside. We carried on with our evening for a few minutes before the power went out again. I knew where the breaker box was by this time, so I just flipped it again. Then it dawned on us that every time we turned anything on, the breaker tripped. I ended up flipping the breaker switch about 10 times before I called the front desk and told the attendant about our issue. The only possible solution at this point was to repack and move to another room. It was extremely inconvenient, but we did it. The room we moved to was fine and everything worked properly. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. Otherwise, the visit was pleasant.

So close to the beach! Nearby grocery store. Quaint facility. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate but if it was sunny and warm it would be excellent!

So this place has the potential to be a very great find it’s in a perfect location. I mean you can’t get any more perfect than where it’s at. It’s right on the beach you open your front door and you’re on the beach. The hotel has a 60s theme going. OK so the pool wasn’t heated, OK I can I can live without a pool But the rooms were a little dated if they fix up those rooms man it’d be a great place. These rooms were reminiscent of just maybe Florida in the 80s or 70s. The beds were comfortable and the shower though dated was the best hot shower spicket that I’ve had in a long time and it seemed it was endless! So if I’m traveling with my wife, I’m going across the street to the Hampton Inn. I’m gonna pay a bit more and get those amenities if I’m just traveling with some buddies and want just kind of lower budget trip but still pretty comfortable then I’m going there

Great location, close to the beach and just 3 minutes to the center of the town, by car. The property is clean, but needs updating to the bathroom, and furniture. Not bad for a night.

I liked the spa tub ! Also lots of options to take walks especially if you have pets! This hotel is pet friendly ! Pillows were high quality and beds were confortable ! Its a cool retro style hotel where a movie was once made hence the name is magic beach hotel ! Balcony was very spacious fun place to people watch and dog watch beach is a hop skip.and a jump away ! From room 204's balcony we watched the new years eve fireworks show our balcony off this room gave us a perfect view ! Wished the tv was much larger that wouldve made this room perfect !

I got there place was dirty sand everywhere in bathroom, things broke in room , smelled so bad , water had a horrible smell to it , went to front desk to tell them nothing done WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !! Worst experience
