Comfortable cabin
Had a nice weekend staying in this cabin. It's very clean with plenty of room. The kitchen is bright and inviting and it was nice to sit at the table to enjoy morning coffee. The ceiling fans, variety of lighting options and abundance of outlets were a bonus. The owner is flexible and helpful if you have any questions. First time to Hubbard Lake - beautiful lake and friendly people.

Cozy Cabin
We enjoyed our stay and were satisfied with our decision to stay here. It was a peaceful neighborhood and a beautiful area with wildlife everywhere. The cabin had all our basic needs with a friendly owner who was available anytime we needed help.

Good accomodations for rainy day
Our weekend had a rainy day so we stayed inside and enjoyed the fireplace and cabin. Didn't get out on the lake but it looked like a great lake for boating and fishing.

Perfect getaway!
The cottage was perfect for our short stay on Hubbard Lake. Bill was incredibly responsive and the area was beautiful! We'll be coming back again, for sure.

“It’s a cabin”
It’s very simple. It’s a log cabin on lake! It’s simple and nice and not over decorated with a bunch crap that’s says, Welcome to the Cabin or other cabin themed wall art.

Quaint and Rustic
Returned to the Hubbard Lake area with my spouse for a High School Reunion. Found this listing and it was perfect for our needs. While it was only my wife and I, there was plenty of room for more. The amenities were plenty for preparing meals if you want or simple snacking. The proprietor was great to work with in terms of communication. I would highly recommend this property!!

Nice and quaint
I loved the rustic feel of the cabin and touches. It was exactly how a place up north should feel! But had very good internet and cable, so just enough modern access that most would require. Bill was very quick to answer any questions. Will keep in mind for future stays!

Fantastic getaway
First time using vrbo. Prior to booking i had to send Bill a question regarding the cabin. He was very quick and accurate with his response. The booking process was so easy i thought i had screwed it up. The cabin is adorable. The log cabin design is very comforting. The inside is super clean and has everything needed to enjoy a quiet relaxing vacation. The beds and linens are super comfortable. The lake is a very short 2 minute walk, two houses away. While checking it out we were able to meet Bill who was very friendly and asked if we needed anything. Unfortunately the weather didnt want to cooperate but we were able to explore Alpena and some other areas and then enjoy the evenings sitting by the lake after the rain stopped. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable vacation steps away from a very very nice lake then Bill's cabin is absolutely the way to go. Thanks again Bill and we will absolutely be back.

Beautiful cabin on the lake!
We really enjoyed our stay, the property location was perfect with a beautiful view of the water. Neighbors all seemed very friendly. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We had plenty of space for our family of 5. The owner was super friendly and helpful with getting us settled in and making sure we were happy with our stay. We will definitely be back in the future.

Perfect home base for family vacation
We were looking for an affordable place to stay with our 6 kids and was pet friendly and this was perfect. Bill was prompt to answer any questions and provided so many extras in this cabin that made our stay easier. Plenty of towels, blankets, pots and pans, etc. Awesome sunroom with tables today would be perfect to do a puzzle on or enjoy breakfast. The water access is close and neighbors were a treat :) We were made to feel very at home. We hope to make this place a regular stop.

Weekend getaway!
We loved Bill’s cabin! It had a very secluded feel about it! It was in a quiet neighborhood with people walking the streets! It was located in the middle of what we wanted to see! Bill reached out to us when we were on our way to let us know that the cabin was ready for us and also offered a late check out! He was a fantastic host! We would most definitely rent from him again! Manager of this property just let us his ad resulting in a frantic desperate situation for my family
We were not able to stay due to the property managers last minute cancellation and accusations of dishonesty. Dad clearly states that renters needed to be 18 years older. It caused a lot of problems for my family. Be careful.

Winter visit to Hubbard Lake
Cozy cabin with gas fireplace and up to date network (TV/WiFi). Close access to lake. Shanties and snowmobiles we’re out. Tasty carry-out minutes away. Great place for midwinter getaway.

Not your average log cabin
Had a wonderful girls' get-away at this enchanting log cabin on Hubbard Lake. I looked at many rentals around Hubbard Lake. Many were older, log or wood- paneled cabins. This cabin is bright and roomy with updates others did not offer. There are plenty of windows, a bright, cute kitchen, a skylight in 1 bedroom, a ceiling fan and sliding glass door in the large master bedrm. Host has provided everything you would want in kitchen. Enjoyed a real log cabin with stone fireplace that was inviting, not dark and outdated!
