「I'll start with the good: Cabin is very clean. Nice back porch. Bed is super comfy. Within easy drive to several local tourist spot. Only about 5-10 minutes off I77 Fancy Gap Exit. You are within 5 minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent fresh produce available down highway 52 about 20 minutes (keep traveling South on Hwy 52 to arrive in Mt. Airy NC (Mayberry). Worth visiting the downtown area. Could use improvement: There were no chairs next to creek as shown. There is NO stove...

「My cabin was homey and charming. Everything I needed was right there. The site is comfy and private and that made for a restful stay. This was the second time I have stayed in cabin #1 and hope I can stay there the next time I come to Galax!」

「My family got to the property and the owners were there and seemongly forgot that we were coming. We had to wait about 45 minites for them to get packed up. There was a smoke detector beeping and they said they hoped we could deal with that. We could not as we have people in the family with a strong sensitivity to repetitive noise so we took it down. The property itself is very nice and we did have a good time dispite a rocky start.」

「When choosing a VRBO we are always looking for a place that will allow dogs. Luckily we stumbled upon this property! The property itself could use a little TLC, but honestly if everything was brand new it would be a lot more to rent and dogs would probably not be allowed. That said, the property was clean and did not smell at all, like others had warned about. 「Perfect place for our family to relax! We fished, had a bonfire and went canoeing! There’s a few places around to eat and shop not far but they have everything to cook at the property if you wanted. There’s hiking and plenty of outdoor adventures nearby! The grill was a standard camping grill that’s by the driveway. Little small if you want to grill a lot of stuff. Property company was very quick with response to my questions! Definitely would come back to this property 」
