「This was our second time staying here, we absolutely love the house, the location, quiet, woods, views, path and the hosts. We hope to go back again and again. Wonderful retreat to unplug. 」

「My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs and would definitely stay again. Very private, host was not intrusive at all. Great place for our dogs to run and play in back yard. We were all very comfortable. 」

「We enjoyed our two night stay. We have a 12 year tradition of meeting our friends in Abingdon to see a play at the Barter Theater and enjoyed staying at the house vs a hotel. We will be back next year!!!」

「Very cozy spot with all of the thoughtful little touches. Never wanted for a thing or were bothered by a thing. The location is close to any number of easy day trips, but remote enough to “hide” and just hike around the house.」

「Stayed here on our way to Myrtle Beach. Ample beds, Fully stocked kitchen & linens, super close off highway. Small quiet town, great to relax. Gas station/store right down the street. Convenient & Clean. I would stay again. 」

「The stay here was excellent. The house was very clean and relaxing. Enjoyed the view of the creek with the geese off the back deck and the massage chair was the greatest. The owner of the house was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back. 」

「The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

「We had 4 adults and a 3 year old and 2 dogs for the week. The house was clean,large kitchen area and living room. We encountered rain each day and the effects of Hurricane Helene. The weather could have been better, but we had fun anyway. I would recommend this home. 」

「Comfy and cozy home overlooking new river just a half hour from VA Tech. The place was clean and everything was labeled for easy use. While you can hear the trains on the track go by, I found it relaxing like white noise. We came here for a football game, but I would stay here again during warm weather to enjoy the river. The host was very responsive 」
