"Simply a great hotel within walking distance of Parliament, Big Ben, etc. as well as bus and tube transportation. Staff was so friendly and accommodating from the front desk, concierge, bell stand, etc. Would definitely stay here again."

"2nd time staying here. Genuinely love staying, room fantastic, restaurant and breakfast fantastic. The real thing that makes it is the staff, every single one makes the experience worth it. My only grumble would be on arrival on both occasions had to wait for the room, this time just over an hour, but again staff couldn't have apologised more but to happen twice is a little disappointing. All that being said its still 5 stars from me. "

"I have stayed here a couple of times and find it a great option when in London, especially when visiting with my family. The rooms are big enough and in good (not excellent as they are a bit older) condition. The service is exceptional and the breakfast is great. They city view rooms are amazing. It is located within walking distance of London Eye and the Southbank with all the restaurants."

"We have been coming to the Doubletree docklands for years now with our whole family- but In Recent years have been splurging out and booking the junior suites- as they are so worth it! The best thing hands down about this hotel is its location looking out over the river to Canary Wharf. By day you can hear the waves of the tidal Thames lapping at the shore, the sounds of the ferries going past and see the sun glinting off the buildings. I’m from Sydney and it’s the closest I’ve come to -being the other side of the world- to Sydney harbour and the ferries! On a sunny day I can almost imagine I’m back at home on the harbour! The urban beach here adds to that feel, but if you can afford to splurge - the junior suites have balconies that open to the front and look out over the river- it’s gorgeous. The food has by far improved in the restaurant since the last time we came , but in particular the service from the very friendly and hardworking staff is outstanding. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds and In Particular the pillows were really comfortable. The final cherry on the top is that there is a complimentary ferry from Canary Wharf to the hotel dock on the other side- which very soon will be upgraded to being electric! Overall my fave place to stay in London by far 😍"
