Although there is no public transportation near the home, you can drive to the town of Truckee, about 20 minutes away, where bus routes will take you to Northstar Ski Resort, Kings Beach, and Tahoe City. With 3 ski resorts within 5 miles, you can easily hit the slopes. For those seeking more urban amenities, both Tahoe City and Kings Beach are a 35-minute drive from the home.
