"For us Bannisters was a mixed experience. The overall feel of the hotel is one of quality. The staff were universally friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooftop restaurant was excellent with a great ambience. The pool area was also a very pleasant place to spend some time though the pool itself was on the smaller side. So far so positive, but the room itself, whilst satisfactory, was not quite of the same quality.Wifi is provided by an unsecured network and signal strength is very variable...

"The room was very clean. Two adults and two teenagers were very comfortable in there. The amenities, such as dinnerware, large fridge, toaster, microwave were very convenient. The only thing that could have been better was the supplies. There were no additional toilet paper rolls. We only had 2 towels between the 4 of us. When we went to get more, the office was closed. Apart from that, the stay was great. PS - we did not get the beach experience because of the heavy rains all day."

"Clean and comfortable room with access to shared balcony, suitable for our overnight stay, which was the last leg in our coastal journey from Victoria and up the NSW coastline. We stayed on a Thursday night so minimal disturbance from facilities below. Warm, welcoming check in and loved the free drink vouchers, great after a days travel. "Stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe King Room which was at the rear of the property with a green/tree outlook from the balcony. Comfortably furnished and very very quiet. The included continental breakfast was well presented and a genuine plus. Happy to recommend this accom. "

"My best friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We were in room 10 (pastel blue themed) which had a huge king bed, separate living room and bathroom (shower only) plus kitchenette. Our living room looked over the pool which could get noisy with windows open, but there was something nice about the buzz of it. Check-in was easy (and friendly!), there were boards you could borrow and bikes as well. A stone's throw from the beach and if you took a shortcut through the complex, even shorter...
