This was a stay for my husband, adult daughter and son-in-law visiting the area on Labor Day Weekend for local waterfalls and hiking. The house is located just one minute from the road that leads to the Mosquito Falls/Chapel Falls Loop, which was one of the hikes we planned to do. We stayed for three nights.
This house was just what we needed for our stay. Pros include location, newer appliances, fairly well-stocked kitchen, clean bedding and towels, large living room with comfy furniture, Smart TV that had every channel we wanted and the house was priced well for a holiday weekend.
Cons include a loose bathroom barn door that closes only somewhat with a hook, sloping floors and some cleaning neglect under furniture. There was also no direction for closing up the house, which is unusual for a VRBO property. I just did what is usually requested and stripped the beds, did a quick wipe-down of the kitchen, did the dishes and left the garbage bagged up in the kitchen (there were no outdoor bins). A checklist on the fridge or in an email would have been helpful. To be fair, I could have emailed the property manager, but we were so busy I just didn't get to it.
For a weekend stay where we just needed a place to sleep, a full kitchen for meals and lounge area for the evenings it worked well. I would stay here again if looking in the area.
