"Fantastic historic hotel with very helpful staff in a wonderful location."

"I spent 11 nights here and found the hotel to be quiet and very relaxing. There was no issue with free parking immediately next to the hotel. The room was fairly large and well equipped, although it was a little tired and in need of a makeover. "we have stayed here several times. it’s a basic hotel that is convenient to the train station and town center. the negatives are lack of air conditioning and outside street noise can be loud if you leave your window open."

"Excellent service from the lady at reception, she couldn't have been more helpful. Its a budget hotel, so my expectations were not high and proved correct. Quite tired rooms, but very clean, no issues with that. Room was dark and shutters didn't open, perhaps to cut down the noise from the railway at the back. No dining or bar facilities; they do offer breakfast but I had to check-out early, so didnt try it."
