We had a two bed villa, directly on the beach front. Probably the best position in the whole complex (Villa nineteen).
The rooms were not ready for us when we arrived (which was after 3.30pm) and there was no air conditioning or safety deposit box. However, we managed to get a safe after requesting one and the air conditioning was activated after around an hour - by which time the rooms were cleaned and ready for us. The air conditioning was pretty good once activated (it is a machine unit fixed to the bedroom walls). There is no a/c in the main living room (although there is an overhead fan). Be warned though - the a/c costs eight pounds per night, per room, so quite a shock to the wallet when you check out!
The hotel is generally excellent in terms of staff, security, cleaning, and location. But the cleaners have a strange habit of removing all towels from your rooms by 9am and not returning any clean towels until mid-afternoon. So we had to 'hide' the towels when we went for breakfast to ensure we could use the bathroom and swimming pool etc. No idea why they do this.
The breakfast is very chaotic though - they seldom have enough tables and there are never enough cutlery, cups or plates. Having said that, the omelettes are good, with fresh pancakes also. Hot food is sausages, porridge, eggs - no bacon of course.
