The property was beautiful, clean and well designed. The views were gorgeous, the fireplace cosy, and the property had many seating areas scattered throughout to encourage lingering and conversation.
We were left disappointed, however, when we specifically wanted a room with a sofa—and had written confirmation that the room we had booked had a sofa in it. However, we were placed in a room without a sofa or couch (during the night my husband starfishes, and I can continue sleeping through the night by easily switching to the sofa in our room).
Despite talking to the front desk 3x times about it during our stay, nothing was done to remedy the situation. I understand that the season in Sedona just started and that maybe the staff was working at capacity. However, this need was never addressed, acknowledged or corrected, despite my showing front desk staff that my hotel room confirmation indeed stated that we had a room with a couch. As such, we were left disappointed.
