We had a very nice stay in Searsport, ME. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do, and host Rick provided multiple suggestions--such as where to get the best fresh lobster and well as local museums, restaurants, best coffeehouses, state parks, and a local indoor farmer's market--that really made our stay special.
The unit is quite large and the kitchen was well equipped for the light cooking we did. We especially appreciated the nut crackers and piques, which were a big help when we had dinner at Youngs Lobster Pound in Belfast.
The only reason we marked the "Overall Rating" as a 4 rather than a 5 is because the building is very old and the ground floor unit has a strong musty smell. Once we were inside for a few minutes, we got used to the odor but it kind of hit us each time we entered the building. Also, we are not large people, but we found the king-sized bed to be very uncomfortable. It either needs more support down the middle or the mattress/box springs need replacing. Finally, our only other nit is that the listing mentions a flat screen TV and while one does exist, it's a Roku TV, not cable or satellite TV. We don't have a Roku account so we don't really know how that service works, but the Olympics were going on during our stay and we were unable to watch much of it.
Overall, however, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Vrbo.
