Built in the early 20th century and set back from the road, this charming and secluded cabin, just one mile from World of Life Island, is a great option for couples or a family looking to get away from it all for a little while.

Located one short mile from the lake and the quaint village of Schroon Lake, this historic home boasts walls of stone and golden knotty pine along with plenty of modern amenities to ensure everyone is comfortable. Prepare meals in the well-equipped, full kitchen and then dine at the table for six or bring out the board games on rainy or snowy days. The living area features a futon, comfortable chairs, a wood stove, and a TV for streaming your favorite channels.

And outdoors, enjoy the expansive yard where the kids can run and play while you toss something special on the gas grill, and then gather around the firepit to roast marshmallows, tell stories, and watch the stars come out.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
