「Brian reached out to us while we were still traveling to let us know how things would be when we arrived, and met up with us later that evening. We truly enjoyed the area, and loved exploring. It was our 1st time in Maine. We saw so many beautiful places from Ft. Williams and the lighthouse to Wolfe's Neck Park in Freeport. The ferry ride to Peaks Island and the bike ride around were amazing. Maine is so beautiful. We will definitely be back.」

「We had a lovely 3 night stay. The views are incredible. We enjoyed cooking in and sitting by the fire pit. So perfect we never left. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We rented a kayak for the weekend and made great use of the dock. The bonus was this property is dog friendly!」

「This location was perfect for a first time visitor to Maine. We spent most of our time out of the house but it was centrally located to so many wonderful locations. The check in process was seamless. Excellent communication from the hosts and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a Maine trip that’s close to beaches/activities, but much more private.」

「This was a great find! Short walk to downtown, but far enough away to be away from the crowds. Perfect oasis for myself, my pregnant wife, and our dog. We would definitely stay again!」

「The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?」

「I’ve stayed at this property multiple times over the years with my family in the summertime but this was my first solo trip in the winter. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge with my dog. They had everything I needed and even had the coziest fireplace. I’ll be back next year!」

「My two sisters and I loved everything about the place especially the kitchen and the temperature control via AC or heat. The only concern about the place is that it took 1-3 tries each time we had to unlock the front door by code. There was supposed to be music to help but couldn't really hear anything. May need some attention but have to admit we never alerted anyone at the time thinking it was related to our ineptitude! I tried to do this review on the Vacasa site but the page never came up...
