"Pricey but I love the fact that you can go to 8 private onsen This was our second time staying here. We have tried 4 of the outside onsen and find it very peaceful. The staff is outstanding. You can get a shuttle to and from the town. They even pick your luggage up for you if you wish. The breakfast is fulfilling and tasty as well. The staff makes this place perfect. "

"The place was closeby to good food options, shopping, and even to a Catholic church. The staff were helpful and responsive to queries. Hotel room was big enough including the bathroom with a tub and shower. We will look forward in returning on future trips."

"Beautiful property. Rooms a bit dated and small though. 5 private onsens which you dont need to book. Really busy during the day but from midnight could walk into any of them. Public onsen as well. Free ice cream, tea and daily basic ramen between 10:30 - 11:30am. Was a nice break away and near Arashiyama"
