We appreciated the host providing the coffee, sweeteners & make-up remover cotton items in the bathroom. Most hosts don't do this, so it was a plus. The kitchen had all we needed except a pitcher for juice/tea. The spa was great after I turned the temp. down from 105 degrees and it was nice to have a backyard. We didn't try the firepit because it was warm while we were there.
Hopefully, the owner treated the exterior area for the swarming fly problem we encountered outside between the entry door and the front gate when temps. rose to about 95 degrees for several days. We notified the property mgr. who responded quickly, saying they would pass along the notification to the owner. This wasn't a problem when we arrived before the weather was hot. We also found a large spider (Daddy Long-legs) in the tub & another large spider that we removed.
It wasn't a big problem, but since quiet hours are requested on the listing, it's only fair to say that we could hear people on the other side of the house like you do in a hotel after quiet hours.
I used the laundry to dry a swimsuit. Housekeeping had left a big load of towels in the dryer & the machines had stuff on top of the W/D & piled around them. Needs improvement.
Given the cost of the rental, it could've been better.
