Beautiful spacious home
This place was GREAT. It was spacious, clean, and in a gated community with a pool. There was a shopping center right down the road, it seemed to be new because not all the shops were open but it was still nice that it was close. It was a quieter area, with mostly nice houses and no high rise hotels. You have to drive to the beach to the public access spot, apparently most of the beach is private there....it was a little strange to me but we were always able to get a parking spot no further than across the street. We also got a spot on the beach each day easily. There is a lifeguard on duty. If you want a quiet, more upscale area experience then this is right up your alley. If you want hustle and bustle and a million highrise condos then you might be a little bored here. The area wasn't super diverse but we didn't run into any issues. I only contacted property management for one thing, the hedges were a little long and scraped on my car when I pulled in the driveway. They said they would fix it but no one ever did. I didn't really hold that against them because the rest of my experience was so positive. The pictures were an accurate depiction of the property. I would 100% recommend this property. I would recommend this area if you wanter a quieter, slightly less crowded beach spot.

Lacking Beach Necessities
I like to start with positives, so I'll say the house itself is really cute and newer. It's a nice, gated neighborhood and a short walk, bike or golf cart ride away from the beach. The house was spacious enough for our family of 6 adults and 6 kids. However, be fair warned that this house is not close to being stocked with the items it needs. It's a beach house, yet there are NO beach chairs, beach toys, or beach towels. There's not enough silverware in the drawers, no spices, no hand soap in the bathroom, not enough bath towels for a larger family, and so on. The dishwasher wouldn't clean any of the dishes in the top layer, so we hand-washed the entire trip. The pans are horrible to cook with. Also, the air ducts in this house need to be cleaned desperately. For the amount of money you pay to come down to 30A, we just felt we did not get our money's worth by staying here.

Very cute house, great layout and vibe.
The house was really nice looking, and perfect for our group of 4 adults and 8 kids. Basically two master options (although one was a little grander than the other), so great for 2 couples needing en suite bathrooms. The kids LOVED the triple decker double bunk room! The kitchen was very pretty and functional but you do need to bring things like trash bags, multipurpose cleaner, etc. The 12 minute walk to the beach is doable but pretty far. But driving to the beach was great, just make sure to get there before 10:00 to be able to park. So enjoyed our time!

Great comfortable house but not convenient to beach.
The house is a great beach house and perfect size for our group (two adults and 9 teenagers). However, the closeness to the beach was misleading. We were able to rent a golf cart which made it more convenient, but without bikes or golf cart, getting to the beach would not be easy. Location to the beach would not be convenient for young kids or any group/family that likes to be able to go back to the house during the day. You have to use the public beach access which is 1.5 miles from the house. The public beach access is nice, but limited parking for cars and golf carts. It is doable, but requires planning. The house itself is great and comfortable. Nice, quiet neighborhood but HOA is strict on rules and parking. Overall a great stay but would have been nice to have been aware of beach location beforehand to plan properly.

Excellent stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is fresh, clean and well laid out in a small gated community. We loved that the pool was heated and so close to the house. The only downside was the limited kitchen equipment but there was considerable cabinet space for what we brought. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be coming back

The property was in a perfect place for a quiet stay. A little distance to walk to the beach but the State Parks close by were beautiful within 15-20 minute drive. Community pool was very nice. Only complaint was the tv in family room didn’t work very well.

Perfect for 2 families!
This home was perfect for two families traveling together. There are 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms (so each couple took one of those), a bedroom with 6 bunk beds ( the younger kids took that room), and a bedroom with a queen bed (my two teenagers took that room). Everyone had plenty of space. I loved the outdoor shower, the neighborhood pool, and the proximity into the beach. We ate at Mi Casita twice-we love authentic tacos-and it is in walking distance. The only thing that was a let down was the one ply toilet paper…

Lovely house!
This house was great for the six of us. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood a short drive or bike ride to Seaside town center. Keep in mind that the bunk room sleeps six, but it is designed for kids. My 13 year old stayed there but she was almost too big for the bunk. Only other drawback was that the beach was not that close, but there is parking down at the access point if you don’t want to walk. House is really nicely decorated, and we had a very relaxing and fun week. We would definitely stay here again!

A gem of a neighborhood
We appreciated the sleeping arrangements and comfortable beds in this well-planned home. The proximity to public beaches, provision of a four-seater golf cart, comfy porches, lovely decor, and top-of-the-line appliances made our stay near perfect. I also appreciated the self-locking backdoor with a good key pad. My large group could come and go at different times and not have to keep up with keys. Unfortunately, the walls and trim of the home have become grimy and the whole house needs a thorough cleaning, not just quick maintenance between guests. Thankfully, I found the towels and bedding to be very clean. I was frustrated, though, by the absence of a dustpan. The vacuum also has seen better days and has no suction. Finally, a word about the golf cart: PLEASE address the loose steering. Someone is going to get hurt!

Lovely house
Sea-esta is a wonderful house, well-appointed and decorated in a charmingly subtle beach theme that is not obnoxious or kitschy. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The home has so many windows for natural light, but the plantation shutters allow for complete privacy. The outdoor shower was key so as not to track sand inside. The washer and dryer were great. Since each VRBO is different, it is helpful to know that you will need to bring your own beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent/pods. Instead of the public beach recommended in the description, we had the best luck maintaining social distancing (we traveled just after Florida opened up to visitors) at the Deer Lake State Park beach. It is the same distance, just the opposite direction. There is a $3/vehicle fee and the State Park Patrol closes the gate when the allowed number of guests have arrived. We usually arrived between 9-10 and had plenty of room on the beach. Heads up! The golf cart has very loose steering and driving it on 30A is terrifying. It needs to be fixed to be safe. It was incredibly difficult to get a response from the rental company. I tried text, email, and phone calls for questions about the rental and they typically took 24 hours to get a response. We were given the wrong code to access the house upon check-in. We had to wait 45 minutes on hold to reach Vacasa for a new code (after driving for 12.5 hours and arriving in a tropical storm). This was incredibly frustrating. Also, please note that the trash pick-up days listed in your check-in instructions are wrong. Because of this we had an overflowing trash bin from the previous guests and the raccoons were happy to spread it all over the driveway. This also took some time to resolve. Oddly the neighborhood "sheriff" was able to get in touch with the rental managers immediately. It was written in the house rules that only licensed adult drivers could operate the golf-cart (never mind that we saw lots of teenagers from another house ripping around in golf-carts). One evening my husband allowed each of my children (ages 6-9) to take turns sitting on his lap to steer the golf cart through the neighborhood. My husband was the one "operating" the golf cart. We got a phonemail, text, and an email from the property managers chiding us for allowing children to operate the golf cart all before we had even parked it back in the driveway. Overall the house itself was lovely and comfortable!!

Great house and responsive rental company
The house was beautiful and nicely appointed. The area was family friendly and the pool was very close to the unit. The location was a ways away from public beach access but the golf cart was helpful. The layout of the house worked well for our group, but the narrow driveway and no street parking left us shuffling cars. The house had a few ants, some stray hair on towels and some crumbs on the counters, but was generally clean overall. The rental company was super responsive and I would rent from Vavasa again. Their agents were great. Overall, I would recommend this property for groups that don’t mind driving to the beach and want a higher-end rental unit experience.

Family oriented, quiet, beach getaway!
Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood. Not far from the beach, but not what we would consider waking distance. The Seaside /Seagrove area is an upscale, condo free location that was perfect for our family! Home had all the basic necessities for our stay and looked exactly like the pictures online. Went by the grocery store and we were set. Slept 10 of us very comfortably. Community pool is only about 50 yards from our front door, very large and nicely secluded. No TV is the bunk room, but TVs in all other bedrooms and the living room had a dvd player. WIFI worked great, golf cart was a must and having it was fantastic since they are used throughout the town. The town is picturesque and has unique shops and buildings. Overall a fantastic vacation!

Good spot away from the crowd
We enjoyed our stay at the Seaesta house. It was nice that a golf cart came with the rental. The neighborhood was quiet and away from a lot of the congested area. You could continue down the road across 30A to beach access but unfortunately for our stay the bay area was too high to cross at that point with all the stuff we were taking to the beach. That was where the golf cart came handy, we drove it a few minutes down 30A to the public beach access with parking. There were some fire ants along the property that were a bit hidden in the mulch so they were hard to notice. They attacked a few times which wasn't too exciting especially since we had younger kids who aren't always as observant. Another thing was was a bit difficult was the parking/construction issue. Since it was a long driveway we had to maneuver cars a few different times. There was construction next door which led to work vans parked on the curb. The rules for the neighborhood states no street parking so it made it difficult to get our cars out of the driveway. The kitchen island and dining table were great for gathering. Plus the kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Nicely decorated comfy home. Pretty well kept neighborhood centrally located between Seaside and The Hub by car or cart. Heated pool very clean and surrounded by beautiful trees. Very relaxing getaway. Excellent Customer Service.

Great house and helpful owner, but red tide and uptight residents disappointed
Spacious, well-decorated and fully furnished house. The owner was available and helpful for some of our questions. Golf cart was helpful. Seaside and Seagrove are quaint villages with beautiful beaches. However, the red tide came in a couple days in and rendered beach useless. In the same way, we were only people at the pool for half of the week, but then adult residents started coming to the pool and complaining about everything our kids were doing in the pool. (Teen and preteen aged kids being kids in the pool) Not a kid-friendly neighborhood. Additionally, this area is EXTREMELY expensive. Plan to eat at your rental and limit eating out.

Very Nice, But!
Loved that it was modern with tall ceilings and an open floor plan. To be as new as is starting to show some signs of aging. Some things can be addressed immediately. Very first impression was the big spot in the rug. All rugs can use some attention. Sand was in bunk beds. Wall paper starting to peel in guest toilet downstairs. Need touchup paint through out. No privacy doors or blinds for them. These are seemingly quick fixes. Other than that the granite at the sink was cracked in several places and the bunks are very tight. Knots on the tires of the golf cart could be hazardous. Not trying to be harsh, only to save this place. We really did enjoy it.

Absolutely stunning!!! Very comfortable and accessible to places!
Our family had our first destination family reunion at this beautiful house. Everyone slept comfortably. The A/C acted up on our first day, but was taken care of immediately without hesitation. It was very clean, very spacious, and beautiful! The neighborhood was SUPER peaceful, too. The kids had a blast at the pool. We made wonderful memories here!!
