There was black mold in one of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are not cleaned. They sweep but that’s about it. The location is good. The staff was good. They have free breakfast. They have cheap dining options. It would’ve been a good stay if it wasn’t for the bathrooms.

Dalle foto sul sito l'ostello sembrava molto piu' bello e ordinato. In realtà ho trovato una struttura molto attempata che a mio avviso andrebbe ristrutturata. La pulizia degli ambienti andrebbe rivista e la colazione con poca offerta.Il personale gentile e disponibile.Il luogo molto bello e percxhè lontano dal caos e perche' l'accessibilità alla costiera è immediata. Molto confortevole il materasso con rete rigida come piace a me. Domito bene. Forse un po' troppo alta la scala del letto a castello. Per concludere struttura con molte potenzialità se eseguite ristrutturazioni adeguate.

The bed has bugs. i only realized when I woke up and my arms were itching and my sleep was disturbed. No air conditionning in the room I was in, we were forced to open the window and so mosquitoes came in and added even more bumps to my skin. No hand soap + towel rack is rusty af. Would not recommend and will definitely not stay there again. The only reason this has 2 stars is because the staff working there are lovely and helpful.

Their version of air conditioning is just a fan placed on the floor meant to cool four people in one room and does nothing for the humidity. Washrooms are small and have no where to put your things when getting ready in the morning/at night. If you arrive later in the evening you are charged a late fee that must be payed in cash and there is not staff in the building 24/7.

Bedbugs, Bites, and a Terrible Experience

I strongly advise against staying at Seven Hostel. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined by a severe bedbug infestation. I woke up with multiple itchy, painful bites (+20) and was horrified to find bedbugs crawling in the bed. I even captured a few in a bottle as proof. I immediately reported it to the staff, but the response was indifferent and unhelpful. No apology, no urgency, and no proper action taken. I had to discard some of my belongings to avoid bringing the infestation home, and the stress and discomfort ruined part of my trip. Cleanliness and basic hygiene should be a minimum standard—this place failed miserably. I’ve reported the issue to the appropriate travel and health platforms and strongly urge others to avoid this hostel until they properly address their pest problem.

This place located piano area , nowhere close to any other transportation so I had to spent 35 euros for taxi . That’s my fault that I didn’t aware the area, The worst part didn’t even started yet, Shared shower room and washroom are small only hobbits can fit. I choose the the 6 bunk bed mixed gender room with 12 ppl . They are snoring like hippo I couldn’t sleep at all. And it was the biggest feast for all the bedbugs in the world. I got 23 bites all of my body it hurts and itchy like job in the Bible , I need to see doctor to get steroids. I spent more money than actual accommodation. Nothing against staff. Just they had to change whole facility. My whole sorento experience was none stop scratching . Thank you Seven hostel.

I was under the impression I booked a single room, I even called to confirm with the property in advance. When I arrived they told me no I was in a 12 bed mixed dormitory… not the end of the world and may have been a mistake on my end. When I arrived in my room I found the AC did not work in 34 Celsius weather… the plug by my bed was so high I could not even charge my phone. When I addressed these issues the staff were no help. I ended up having to book a hotel in the area last second as these conditions were not comfortable to stay in.

Nice place, not just for the young!

We stayed in a private room, which was nice. The place was clean and in an impressive building. Being in our upper 40s, we were somewhat older than most of not all folks here, but didn't feel out of place! There is a nice rooftop bar serving a decent range of drinks after 7pm. They also do food up there, although don't expect it to look like the photos on the walls in the main courtyard room downstairs. It comes served in eco unfriendly plastic, and certainly isn't as gourmet! There is a dj there each Friday evening. The location is OK. It's around 25 minutes walk in the heat with a loaded bag or 20 without from Sorrento. Or 5 minutes from Sant Agnello train station, although the trains from Sorrento aren't the most reliable. There are a number of local restaurants close by. For us, the slight inconvenience of being further from the centre of Sorrento was not a problem and we'll worry the lower price of the room. Several aspects were not eco-friendly. For example, the soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty and soap provided in individual plastic packets, the tiny amount in each shampoo sachet making the amount of plastic packaging even worse (Covid can't be the reason for this failure to use the dispensers, given the way breakfast was served and lack of other measures across the hostel) while the aircon could have been replaced by less energy inefficient fans.

Very friendly staff always willing to help, rooms are big, clean, lockers you can actually your backpack in. Breakfast and bar area is large comfortable. Would happily stay again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. LOWER PRICE NOT WORTH THE BRUTAL SERVICE I paid for 5 nights and left after only one night What wasn’t poor about this place. He’s a list of things that were supposed to be included but weren’t 1.Housekeeping The shelves in my room were so covered in dirt and dust that a quick swipe of my finger left a thick sticky grimy layer. I had to wipe it down with wet naps before putting anything on it 2. Bar No bar was open 3. Snack/Deli Bar Not open 4. Restaurant The restaurant was also closed but the owners and employees were kind enough to make a big meal for each other and sit down in front of the guests and eat while they told us the kitchen was closed TV’s None Since there was no food available I had to run to the grocery store and grab some stuff to make a salad before they closed. On the way back I called reception since they were closing soon and asked if they could leave a fork out for me. They said the owner left with the kitchen keys and that they had no way of getting one for me. So when I arrived back I told them I was super irritated that none of the advertised service were available and since I couldn’t get anything to eat my food Id just have to throw away all the perishable parts of what I had gotten. After throwing them out one of the staff told me she could have grabbed me one. The service here is deplorable and the room was disgusting

A lot things change , the rooms were to hot and no AC the breakast bad cold coffee and hardly anything to eat.

Esperienza super positiva, tutti gentilissimi dai ragazzi della reception alle signore che gestiscono la prima colazione. Sopra vi è una terrazza pazzesca! E poi un gran silenzio, graditissimo. Unica pecca l'ascensore non funzionante. Distanza da sorrento 20 minuti
