"The casino next door had the bass blaring until 1am. The the patrons gather in the courtyard after closing for the next hour. When the casino was closed ,the staff of the hotel partied until done. "This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Since the 1st time the new owners have added the Nauti Crab Bar. We enjoyed the activities and music at the bar. The food was also very good. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. We liked having the full kitchen to be able make some of our own meals. We would definitely stay here again."

El Secreto

2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (71)
"When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. "

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (151)

The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. This problem is island wide. Back to Grand Colony. The security is 24/7 and I...
