Pacific Terrace is a great resort for families, but I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travelers seeking high-end luxury. The resort is located right on the beach, which is a major plus. There are plenty of free activities for families to enjoy. The swimming pool is quite small and fills up quickly, so it’s essential to arrive early in the morning if you want a good spot. The service from our poolside server, Eduardo was great.
I would like to give a special shout-out to Ashlynn from the front office staff. Her exceptional customer service made a big difference during my stay. Even though it’s not a five-star hotel, she went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. I believe the manager, Meredith Pelto, should recognize Ashlynn for her outstanding service, as she was a key reason I chose to give a four-star review.
On the other hand, I did have some issues. My room wasn’t ready until 4 PM, despite my request for an earlier check-in. Additionally, I found the front office staff, Justin and Jasleen, to be less than helpful and in need of more training in customer service. Lastly, while the concierge assured me of luxury transportation to and from the zoo and airport, I ended up with a Volvo instead of the promised Suburban or Escalade. I paid for luxury transportation and should have received it.
Overall the experience was moderately pleasant.
