Could have been cleaner
Our first impression was arriving 15 min prior to check in and being unable to enter the property until exactly 3:01pm. The information from the host indicated we might be able to check in early and this exactness left a bad taste in our mouth. We had been traveling since 2am and would have appreciated 15 min of grace. You enter at the ground floor with the 3 bedrooms and this space was rather frigid and honestly colder than outside. Key thing the host should communicate is that only 2 out of 3 bedrooms have mini-splits, so for the third bedroom to get heat or aircon, you’ll need to sleep with all doors open. We made this work for our group but didn’t allow much privacy. Also note that the backyard for this property is accessed through one of the bedrooms. Depending on your desired privacy, this may not work for your group. The upstairs is accessed through a rather steep staircase that I would not recommend traversing in the dark or if slightly off balance. The upstairs contains the master suite, half bathroom, kitchen, living area, and outside balcony. This gets extremely warm in the afternoon. (We were here in January.) This could be corrected but took a lot of attention and adjustment. Then our main issue was the cleanliness. The sheets and comforters had prominent stains. We had to wash everything in the kitchen before we used it because of food remnants. As a beach-ish property, we were ready for the floors being sandy, but not to the level of turning socks black.
