We truly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this gem of a property in Salzburg's Old Town.
The apartment was clean, comfortable, and impeccably well furnished. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire trip, and the comforter was luxurious! I wrapped myself up in it as I journalled each morning in the chair near the window.
It was raining during our first day, and we really appreciated the ability to wash and dry our clothes (shared with other vacation rentals and located down the hall) and take advantage of the high speed internet service to stream Amadeus on our laptop (plugged into the large TV monitor) as we waited for the rains to pass. Watching that movie again really brought the sites of Salzburg, and the life of Mozart to life.
The kitchen was a gourmet's dream, and we enjoyed a decadent meal in one rainy evening, as the nearby grocery store is incredibly well stocked. There were even champagne glasses, and a beautiful sachertorte - with leftovers for breakfast!
This was the perfect getaway for our 25th wedding anniversary, and the 79 steps to and from the apartment just allowed us to drink more wine, and eat more cheeses and meats from the farmers' markets.
