Where to start…
The physical property looked similar to the house represented in the on-line pictures. There is where things go off the rails. The property is ill maintained and probably needs $50K in maintenance, both in side and out. There are foundation cracks some that are so sever as to be tripping hazards. This is particularly true at the pool, where the pool deck is collapsing. The general outside is fair, thou not maintained well. BTW, foundation cracks speak to a bigger issue of safe of the overall structure. Several of the doors going outside do not close well, with significant gaps.
Inside… filth carpeting; generally dirty, that’s speaks to the cleanup between guests; dining room chairs literally falling apart; had one member of our group fall out of a chair (thankfully, no injury); kitchen cabinet doors falling off; generally, the finish on the cabinets are peeling away; one bathroom reeked of urine, that was traced to the mat; another the toilet seat was broken with a ring of sh*t around it; this was released and the mat removed.
Kitchen appliances are a joke and need to be replaced. The door hinge on the refrigerator is broken, such the door literally falls open. The oven is well, well done… The microwave is RUSTED!
Housekeeping was non-existent. One expects sand at the beach, but not piles. Its clear the house was poorly cleaned (how could they miss the sh*t ring?). Frankly there’s more, these are just the lowlights. I HAVE PICTURES!
I’ll be posting this (and pictures) on the any and all social media sites. My goal is to forewarn prospective renters. The owner should be EMBARRASSED. The rental company “Surf or Sound Realty” should be EMBARRASSED to represent a house in such a state.
