「We were a family party of 16, 4 children 2.5 to 13 and 12 adults. The house is roomy and spacious, pool table excellent but darts broken for the dart board so couldn't play had to go out and buy some. Kitchen was okay, there is no garden though so anyone with animals you have to make sure they don't go near the road. No electric charging point for cars which i pointed out to the owner. It is an old property so expect clanky pipes etc. Manager met us at the property to explain the fire alarm...

「Property was lovely, communication excellent. It would just take a couple of things for a 5 star ie two big towels as two people staying, additional toilet roll, kitchen to have more utensils. The listing really should mention the tv is almost impossible as the wifi signal is bad and maybe have some games or puzzles available as we were not aware the tv would just buffer constantly.. 「A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. 」

「A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.」

「I had a 2 night stay with a friend whilst attending a funeral locally. The room was clean and tidy and good sized. we had a meal in the restaurant with other fiends (8of us). Most of us had a good experience. But 3 had an issue with the steaks ordered. They found them to be a little tough to eat. The others all enjoyed what they had ordered.
