"A nice hotel option, upscale, architecturally a bit severe but with a very nice view of the mountains (not so much the lake). Overall, the neighborhood is very safe but unattractive: EPFL is not a campus notable for its grade, and the hotel has some sort of muddy field behind it (but with a path you can follow to walk on the side of the lake, which I recommend). "We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques.
