This hotel was very close to the train station which was very convenient, but it also means that it was in a trashy dirty area. Check in was very disappointing and cumbersome. The first impression is entering a outer court lined with trash cans. It took 4 separate locks to finally get to our room. The room was reserved to be a queen, but we got two twin beds. The bath towel was a table cloth like Julius Caesar used, no terry cloth towels. The maid, a lovely lady from the Republic of Georgia, Russia was sweet and attentive. Breakfast was brought to the room each morning, with no choice of what we wanted. One evening there was a beer street party into the night. Due to being close to bus/train, the vendors were horrible. Street restaurants were prevalent and yummy. We were able to walk to the Colosseum and Trevi fountain from this site. The room is definitely not handicapped accessible. and the beds are hard. The air cooler worked great.
