The property was not up to my standards on being clean. Sand thru the house, very dusty, garbage in laundry room, towels in dryer, dishwasher full. There are 5hrs in between checking out and new clients checking in. I was told that there were several people in the house and the housekeeper couldn't get to everything. Even though, I see housekeeping has been LACK there of in the past yr. Tub stopper does not work, cold water faucet does not work. Could not use tub and this was the main reason to rent the house. Shower head head broken from hose. So 3 of us were working out of the other bathroom. I asked for some type of refund, as put yourself in my shoes when you see great pictures of the house and then it not being up to par. Good gesture that I did get my cleaning deposit back. I think I should have gotten more, when things did not work. I feel I would not of rec'd it, if I had not said anything. Home owner stated she didn't know about the things not working. Then maybe she needs to talk and ask ? to the housekeeper. As a Client, I should not of had to go thru this. You are in a TOWN HOUSE, so beware, you go up 15 stairs to main floor, then another 15 stairs to bedrooms. From where the house is located, you can barely see the ocean, unless you are on the left side of the deck. Parking is not ideal, so be very careful pulling in to driveway, as it's so tight.
