「We have been to Mentone/Desoto a good bit over the years, but this was the first time in several, and it was the BEST! We were wanting a quiet, romantic getaway and this cabin was PERFECT!! To start, the owner reached out in advance to answer any questions and to give notice of what to expect. He even gave us a slew of recommendations for food and activities, which ended up being GREAT! 「What a cozy cabin! The beds were very comfortable which is one of the best aspects when renting a cabin. Loved the screened porch. Stayed for 1 night but wish it had been 2. Couldn’t connect to WiFi which honestly was a plus for my family who needed to disconnect. Had lots of items for cooking minus pans for the oven, but Had firewood and lots of outdoor spaces and a blanket for our dog to lay on furniture. Host messaged us and definitely went over the top to ensure our stay would be perfect!...

「I booked this home on the assumption that the kayak was for a full sized person and not a child. So, if that’s important to you bring your own. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and blankets. The home suited our family of 6 well. The back and Front porches were lovely. The side porch off of the master was not in good shape and we chose not to use it. There was a lot of mouse evidence and a large cockroach. We had problems checking in but the host did a great job communicating...

「We had a wonderful stay at Bro Dave's Mountain home! The view was amazing and the proximity to lots of other attractions made the location perfect! We did a nice road bike ride around the block-8 miles and only saw 8 cars. Then we drove for 5 minutes into the state park and rode a nice easy trail, which was perfect. Chattanooga is just 20 ish minutes away, so you can eat at some really good restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the ac worked really well. Thanks Bro Dave!」
