Less than a 2mi drive from VCU & 0.5mi away from MCV.

Our cozy living space includes a premium queen & full sized bed , & 1 queen air mattress + a sectional, high-speed internet, & 3 Smart TVs

Very peaceful stay. Local restaurants, cafes, bars, & shops just a walk away. Very convenient location. Come stay at our home away from home!
The space
Welcome to your home away from home! Rest assured, you will have a comfortable stay here

Our queen and full sized beds in addition to our queen size and air mattresses are all designed for maximum comfort, ensuring a great night's sleep. Both include fresh linens, pillows, and soft, warm blankets. You can also enjoy the convenience of three smart TVs - one in the master bedroom(50inch) and one in the other bedroom(32inch) and one in the living room (55inch) - so you can relax and unwind with your favorite shows or movies.

Our fully-equipped kitchen has all the pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware you need to prepare your meals and feel at home.

Plus, you don't have to worry about dirty laundry as we have a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. We will include shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom for your convenience, The only thing you will need to bring is YOUR OWN WASH CLOTH & BODY WASH!

You can have peace of mind knowing that we have taken every measure to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We hope you enjoy your stay in our Rental Unit and feel right at home.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire building and it’s surroundings excluding the 4th floor patio that closes @ 11pm
Other things to note
Please bring your own body wash and wash cloth if needed. We will provide you with shampoo, conditioner, and plenty of towels!

Great place, convenient to good restaurants
Love the property. Had a wonderfully unique character, and was very comfortable and homey. Would absolutely stay here again. Very convenient to downtown, easy to walk to lots of great restaurants. Had a wonderful weekend.

Business Trip
The loft was the perfect location for our short business trip to Richmond. A short walk to most everything you'll need. We walked to the Starbucks in Omni for coffee each morning, had dinner at Casa del Barco and logged over 4 miles each day walking along the river and canal front. The host was very responsive and made it easy to check-in and check-out. Bedrooms were small but have decent closets, comfortable soft beds, lighting and ceiling fans. The walls and ceilings are pretty thin so I'd recommend white noise at night to drown out the sound of the upper neighbors walking. Having the parking garage was essential as the street parking is 2 hour during the day and some close-by had construction, so there was active towing. We didn't realize the garage only allowed one vehicle at a time with the host provided access tag. She did offer to reimburse us the parking fee for our second vehicle. Reminder you'll need the access tag for your vehicle to leave the garage. Overall would stay here again.

Our stay in Richmond
Enjoyed our stay. Really cool property. Parking garage was a real plus! Great location- easy walk or drive to all the sights. Well stocked kitchen. Loved having a washer/dryer and 2 bathrooms. Great communication with owner! Checked in with us just to make sure all was well. Would recommend a stay here.

Great place easily accessible to where we needed to go for wedding venues. Great town for walking wish weather was warmer. Loved the parking garage access if not able to find street parking.

Great location, all you need in a loft
This loft is in a great location with everything 5-10 min drive away. We explored all over Richmond and the loft was perfect - just as photographed. We did hear the neighbors a bit at night in the bedrooms, but the main area was cozy and quiet. The loft had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable.

Nice space!
We had excellent communication with our VRBO host. Easy to check in, home was clean and had a lot of what we needed to be comfortable. Able to use instacart to get a few groceries. Needed Uber to get to and from convention as parking was at a premium because it was a really busy weekend in Richmond. Would recommend

City Escape
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Smokehouse lofts. So much character in a cozy little place. Loved the exposed brick and the original wood flooring. It felt like you were staying in a little piece of history. The neighborhood was very “walkable” if you’re looking to just park and explore. The host was easy to communicate with, place was clean. I would recommend this property and host.
