"Beautiful traditional French townhouse perfectly located for the centre of the Monpazier. Facilities were excellent.Plenty of space to sit and relax including a nice outside courtyard area.Mattress to the rear bedroom was a little uncomfortable and could probably do with being replaced. This is intended as feedback for the owner and should not put people off as this is a superb property in a great location."

"We stayed one evening as a stop off on our way back to the ukSweet little house. We were charged 6E for towels which were not supplied. We did have beach towels with us which I did tell the owner. We have still been charged for towels. We had to clean the house which was not clean from the previous occupants. We would have been charged 35E for a clean otherwise. We were only staying from 7pm until 9am and out all evening enjoying the town. I did resent cleaning two toilets they were not as clean...

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. "Finally got back after a nice drive back to the UK ☹.the host ricardo and his family are so welcoming and not intrusive. (His English is good).the villa has no surprises like some villas we have visited on the past.modern feel inside with all mod cons,yet outside is still so very french.location is super quiet and days can go missing very easily.hot in the day and nice walks around village.for the money you will not beat it.book it and enjoy it people!👍"

"A charming appartment, very clean and tidy. Good cooking facilities. The garden is beautiful. Short walk from the tran station, centre. Lidl is just across the road. The owners are do welcoming and helpful. Even gave us a lift to the airport. We would definitely go back. Thank you for a wonderful holiday "

"The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."

"Great place for peace and quiet after visiting wineries and Chateau Monbazillac. It’s larger than the photos depict and quite comfortable. The bed is soft with down pillows so sleeping can be challenging until you adjust to a more relaxed environment. The room is dark when the shutters are closed. Martin and his family are welcoming and yet allow total autonomy. "

"Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."
