Very Pleased!
I have to agree with the previous reviewer, the house was better than advertised! My family and I had stayed there once before and really enjoyed it. But this time it was even better! Since that time two years ago, Huan, the owner, has added an extra bedroom with a very comfy bed and a sliding glass door that opens out to the deck and the lake beyond. And the deck itself has been expanded, making it an ideal place to host family/friends. Huan was also very thoughtful in stocking the kitchen and bathrooms, the living room and the deck: there was coffee for the coffee maker, liquid soap and shampoo (and, of course, towels and everything else), board games and even charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill.
To me, one of the most fun things about the property is the approach to the property itself. If you’ve never been there before, you’re going to think you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up God knows where. And when you see the property from the road…well, it doesn’t look like much. Let me reassure you, though, that all the charm is on the lake side of the property! But the disparity, rather than detract from the experience, actually makes it better. It is truly a hidden gem. And all the folks I have encountered while staying there have been very friendly and welcoming.
Communication with Huan was also very good. He’s a fine host and very responsive to your questions/needs.
I can’t recommend the property and its host enough!
