Really liked the modern rooms and casual dining options. Nice to spend time at lots of different pools and beach was nice too. Al la carte were a bit hard to book and didn’t fine the food too amazing at them but enjoyed the steaks and fish at most places. We really liked the food court for lunch and visiting the quiet Ha pool in the evening for its hot tub. We would come back! The staff were excellent and bathrooms always clean.

I liked the availability of golf cart transportation within the resort. I also liked all the choices of swimming pools at Ventus HA. and at the Marina and Ventus as well. I did not like that after hotel registration my husband and I went to lunch at Mercardo De Dolores. I ate the stuffed fish fillet which tasted very good but 2 hours later and all through the evening I was vomiting. I did not eat any fish of any kind throughout my 8 night stay. I also thought the room had dim lighting and had wished it had better lighting. All the staff were helpful, patient and respectful. I appreciated that very much.

I just want to start by saying that we had an amazing time at this hotel, the food is great - I love the option of going to different restaurants for lunch and breakfast as well as dinner - there are a lot of pools and even though it seems big on the map, it’s all very walkable but also there are so many options that nothing ever seems crowded. The downside is that there seems to be a communication issue, I don’t think the issue is the staff, everyone we met was SO great, it seems to be an organizational issue. Many things got lost in translation and it takes a lot of levels to get something done. We would something and arrive to find it hadn’t been confirmed or we were missing something, there always seemed to be something… This is a very good hotel and I think it could be a great one if they worked on their management. Also, watch for the hard sell if you are a platinum guest. It happened twice with me, in the first 24hrs of me being there, the first before we had even gotten to the room.

The Ventus Ha by far has the prettiest lobby. Our room was clean, large and very comfortable. The food options and restaurants are very good. The beach is not the greatest but there are plenty of pools to choose from.

5 out of 5 for sure for Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid. This is the newest section of the resort across the street from the ocean and other sections. Everything was in immaculate condition and the staff at the resort was fantastic. There are pools and bars by every hotel. Be sure to find some of the hidden rooftop bars as well. All of the restaurants were fantastic, although beware that reservations must be made a couple of days in advance and the timeshare members likely get priority booking. Most of our dinners were between 8 and 9 o’clock at night, but our family doesn’t mind that. Just gives you more time at the beach or by the pool or to grab a cocktail at one of the many bars prior. There were shows every night at 8 PM and 9 PM which were fun and a nice way to spend time prior to dinner. we loved all the restaurants, but in particular the hibachi and Mediterranean restaurants. The buffet for dinner is also quite good and no reservations are required. The restaurant by the coffee house during the day has an unbelievable selection of all types of food for lunch. I had my family of six which includes our four adult children and we had a fabulous time.

We’ve stayed at El Cid and Ventus before so this was our first time at Ventus Ha. It was a great experience for us and our kids. We got to stay at the newest building and upgraded to a bigger room that separated the kids beds to ours and had its own tub in there. The tub was amazing. Overall the stay was great as the food, service and weather were amazing. Would definitely stay again. I would recommend once you arrive to book reservations at the restaurants as they have a lot of reservations each day.

Staff was genuinely friendly, professional and accommodating in every way possible. Grounds were maintained at an extremely high level. Plenty of good restaurant options available however the only issue was making/getting dinner reservations. They only permitted you to make 2/day and many of the only options were 8 PM or later.

There is nothing wrong with this place! Book at the Marina, Ventus or Ventus Ha’ and you’ll have access to everything! Downer; the beach isn’t the greatest, but I’d rather an amazing resort with a subpar beach than a great beach but a questionable resort.

Loved the main pool activities, the entertainment staff were top notch! Ventus ha was wonderfully quiet with nice large hot tubs to enjoy cooler evenings. The Ha pools stayed open later which was nice (1030!). Reservations for dinner can be challenging but if you are flexible with choices and a bit with times of reservations we easily got a reservation every night for 5. We loved French, Kobo, and Mexican. Fire show is a must see and the magician. If you have kids make sure you sign them up early to go see the dolphins with the kids club, free and worth it! Tuesday foam party at the main pool and taco festival night are a must do. The kids also enjoyed the blow up jet skis with electric motors in the pool (Sunday from 11-1 for our trip) and crazy hour each day at the marina pool (1pm). Bring water shoes if you want to spend any significant time walking the beach. It's walkable without but you will have to pay attention to some rocky parts. Beach is eroded but we knew that, we made the best of the sandy part by the volleyball court and swing bar and caught lots of hermit crabs in the rocks. Beach past dolfins at other resort is nice. Service, food and facilities were some of the best we have ever encountered! Food was fabulous! Ha doesn't have any ocean views except for at the roof bars, but it was nice to escape to the quiet part of the resort after spending the day at the other 2 for activities.

Beautiful resort. Our kids loved jumping off the “cliff.” Food was better than other all inclusives I’ve been to, although it was difficult to get a dinner reservation and the buffet got old. Staff was all friendly and attentive. Evening entertainment was fun. The town of puerto Morelos is less than a mile away ($12 by taxi each way) and it felt safe. Fun to leave the resort for some authentic tacos and shopping. Avoid the vacation club talk/meet at all costs! It was not worth $300 off our Chichen Itza trip to sit through that!

This resort was new and smelled fresh. Had a wonderful time with family. Exchange privileges with the other two resorts were wonderful. Many options to eat and nice shows in the evening. Only negative: beach-not so good.

Other than that the resort is always trying to add more fees than what you had previous paid to expedia, the resort is nice there isn't much difference of treatment if you aren't a member they didn't push their timeshares on us, the drinks are ok. If you want better alcohol there is a bar by the lobby in Ventus HA and they have the best mixology and alcohol in the whole resort, also the pool/ jacussi at Ventus ha is very relaxing and they have good drinks. Food is acceptable the buffet/ the Mercado options are very good! The dinning restaurants are good! The pool party day is amazing!
