"Overall it was a good experience. Spacious and clean room with a window above the lovely garden, which is a refugee compared to the busy, chaotic streets in Rome. Receptionists speak English and are very helpful. Restaurants and stores are within short walking distance. The only drawback is that you have to take the bus and then metro to central Rome. However, the bus ride is short and the metro is very frequent. If you want to save money and have a decent and safe place to stay, this is one."

"My family and I had a super stay at the Grand Hotel Olympic in April 2025. We were travelling with our 8 and 4 year olds and they both had an excellent stay. The hotel is in a great location, minutes from the Vatican, but feels much quieter compared to many other areas of the city. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the heart of the city. "This is a great basic hotel. The room was a good size, clean and looked refurbished with modern fixtures. Our room was a ski chalet theme. There was great communication from the hotel staff with inquiries and they were able to arrange for transport from the cruise port in Civitavecchia and to the airport. The location is great. Walking distance to many of the tourist attractions and close to many cafes and restaurants. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The only negative was that our room was not cleaned on our second day which left us over flowing garbage cans for 2 days. However, we would definitely stay here again. "
