Comfortable house with a lot of antiques, reminded us of going to our grandparents as kids. We had a few issues though, but the hosts quickly resolved many of them. They came to install AC units at our request (was included in the listing, but not there when we got there), it turned out to be a hot weekend (80-87 degrees). The fridge and freezer didn't get cold enough, even on high, we ended up having to throw out some of our food after the 2nd day. The washer/dryer was locked away, but owner responded quick and gave us access. The dryer took several runs to dry the clothes. One of the cabinets was filled with ants. The shower only had enough hot water for the first person, and the temperature fluctuated, and not great pressure.
Very close to Vernooy falls, and a short drive to Minnewaska state park, so the location was the best part.
