The good: it's a beautiful condo with incredible views of Spokane River. The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We also loved the deck and bbq!
The not so good: We couldn't get in! Despite several unreturned calls and emails, we were never contacted with access info until our second day there! To VRBO's credit, they arranged for us to stay at a very nice hotel in Spokane, but we still lost a day of vacationing in Coeur d'Alene. VRA, the property managers, did credit us the missed day and provided a boat for a day to make up for their mistake, which was welcomed. However, the stress of hauling my family a couple of thousand miles thru 2 airports and being stuck at Spokane airport, essentially homeless, fruitlessly trying to gain access was trying to say the least. The other issue, which we would have liked to have known about prior to booking, was that the complex was undergoing re-painting the week of our vacation. Every morning at 6am, the scaffolding crane was right outside the master bedroom window beeping all the time while the diesel engine rumbled away powering the crane. Every
Single. Day. So much for sleeping in. Not necessarily VRA's fault, but something that should have been disclosed. It's a terrific condo, just make sure you call the manager well in advance (weeks) and have all your ducks in a row and you'll have a fantastic stay!
