「Location is great and the room was very pretty. Bathroom was nicely updated with a huge rain shower head. We stayed in 121, our friends were in 119 which had a beautiful king sized canopy bed and nice sitting area. Breakfast was just ok...we'd probably enjoy the cafe downstairs instead if we visited again. Our room had a weird musky mens cologne smell and the wall unit didnt seem to work. We set it at 63 and it was pretty warm in the room.」

An 1870's house upgraded bathroom, 12-14 ft ceilings, gas fireplaces in every room, a carafe of Courvoisier for a night's recap before the gas fireplace, the 4 poster bed , antiques all over, a great history to the house ands the local area. 「民宿好きな方なら絶対にお勧めです。皆とても感じがいい。ただ、部屋が狭い。朝食は本当においしかったです。でもお水がマズイのか、コーヒーはひどかったです。ニューポートは、大きなホテルがなく、民宿ばかり。ただ、歩いていける場所が多いので、一泊は民宿嫌いな人でも宿泊をお勧めします。個人的には、ニューポートは大好きですが、次回は少し離れた普通のホテルにしたいと考えています。笑。でもこの町へは、1泊は泊まってみたらいいと思います。」

The avacadoe toast and freshly brewed coffee live rent free in my head. Great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the harbor. It got fairly cold for a couple of days and the gas fireplace heater did a great job of warming the room. 「It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. 」
