We stayed here for 3 nights, and our room was on the 1st floor. Since the room was around the front desk and right in front of the stairs to other floors, there were always a lot of people walking around and talking very loudly, even at 4am. The door and the wall of the room were quite thin so we couldn't sleep well.
Wi-fi was unbelievably slow, and we couldn't even connect it at all most of the time. The bathroom was slightly dark and smelled a little, and the wall of the shower room wasn't very clean.
We had read a lot of good reviews of the breakfast before booking this hotel, but we found it just ok or even below average. We had breakfast at 9:30 in one morning, still 1 hour before the breakfast time ended, but a lot of food were already out and they said they couldn't refill them anymore. Honestly we couldn't understand why they are so proud of this breakfast, and also get a lot of good reviews about it.
Staff was nice, and the location was excellent (within 5min walk from Sao Bento station), but those are the only positive things about this hotel. We will never stay here again.
