Sitting in the heart of Sellwood, this incredible newly constructed two bedroom guest house is a fantastic retreat. The location is truly special. Sitting just four blocks from Sellwood park and Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge you are just moments away from multiple parks and trails along the waterfront. There are a number of restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment options just a walk or a short drive away as well.

The retreat is tucked back behind the main house and is a quiet and private location. Outside you will find ample room for seating, a fire-table, and BBQ on the deck for your grilling desires. Inside there is an open layout with a eat-in kitchen connected to the living room. There is a half bath on the lower level. Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom upstairs for convenience as well. The entire retreat has just been finished and the décor and design has been completed to offer the perfect blend of style and comfort for you.

Downtown Portland is less than five miles to the north and Lake Oswego is the same distance to the south. and The Sellwood Retreat is a wonderful option for up to four people looking to explore and enjoy Portland, visit family, or work in the area. Amazing Escape in the Middle of Portland
This location has privacy, safety, and super close to downtown. The management team is amazing. Additionally, the house was clean, modern, and a home away from home and super cozy. The neighborhood was very inviting with great amenities close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Epic Spot!
This was the perfect place to stay for 4! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the open feeling between the kitchen and living room area. The beds were comfortable as well! Loved walking around Sellwood which is so close by, too!

Great location and place to stay
This property fit our needs perfectly for the week as we were taking our daughter to the area for a roller derby camp. We were able to cook like we normally do while also walking for coffee and other things. Plenty of places to eat and visit to keep us busy. Its a great walkable quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting outside during the evenings on the ample places to sit. The only disappointment was getting a text message while driving that there was an issue with the units AC. It seems to be an ongoing battle as other have mentioned issues. Being a trouble shooter though I figured out the issue (reported it) and hopefully they are able to address it in the future. So for me and my family it was technically not much of an issue but without knowing the north bedroom and living room both need to be running at the same time to cool I could see where people would be unhappy about it. Hopefully my feedback/input helps

This was a gem of a stay! We so enjoyed the house, lots of nice touches outside with lighting and outside seating. The beds were comfy, house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for the weekend. We really enjoyed walking to restaurants and shopping.

A New Spot in Sellwood
Rentals in Sellwood are hard to come by and hotels close by are non-existant. Was several blocks away from our family's home so this worked out great . Sellwood is a cool , special place and this property puts you right in the middle of all . Clean , easy access , cozy , comfortable beds best describe this oasis . Thanks

Perfect home!
This house was perfectly clean and well maintained. One of the AC units malfunctioned while we were staying there and the management company was extremely responsive and fixed it right away. The home had all the amenities we needed. The backyard was so comfortable and relaxing. It was nice to be walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. Quiet and safe neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again if it’s available!.

Wonderful neighborhood
The house was wonderful and perfectly placed. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in one bedroom was broken. We had to follow up on this a few times through out the stay. It was not able to be fixed. I loved the property but had to ask for some compensation due to the air conditioner problem (it was leaking on the bed). I feel they should have immediately offered something without me asking.

Another enjoyable visit to the Sellwood neighborhood. This is our second time staying here. Comfortable accommodations and the close proximity to many great restaurants and shopping are the reasons for coming back. Management company is very responsive to any issues that may arise. We’ll be back!!

The rental was extremely clean and comfortable. It's new, and all the furnishings are as well. We were provided with adequate kitchen accessories, t.p., towels, etc. I highly recommend this home.

Family gathering
A great home base for a long weekend in Portland for my family (me my wife and daughter) to visit our youngest our daughter who attends Reed college. The accommodations were very comfortable and the up and down layout provided plenty of space for the 4 of us. Sellwood neighborhood has many great dining and shopping offerings. We look forward to staying here again on future visits.
