「Very cute cottage. Recent updates to make it look more modern really make a large impact. Check in process was easy and communication with host was always prompt. Cleanliness upon checking in was less than desired. There were a couple dishes left in the sink. As well as a couple other items left uncleaned (large spill located on table and random garbage items left on the back deck). 「As soon as we walked in, we knew we were in for a wonderful week. We all said, “Wow!” (really!) The view, the immersion in nature, the solitude, and the soothing atmosphere were just what we were looking for. The cottage had everything we needed – especially in the kitchen – and we took advantage of the patio grill often with food purchased at the local butcher shop/market (the pork slouvaki – yum!.) 「First off, the surrounding area and the lake the cottage sits on is absolutely amazing. The lake is very busy with jet skis and lots of boaters. The fishing is decent as well and if you want great, Lake Joseph is only 10 mins down the road. The lot for the cottage is very large, with a nice flat front lawn that was great for family lawn games. The back yard has a gentle slope to the water with a very nicely set up firepit and a nice sandy beach area for the kids to swim. The dock was great...
